Milan Miljković, PhD

Research Associate


Graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, department for Serbian Literature and World Literature where he submitted graduate work “WE/I and the Others in Letters from Germany by Ljubomir Nenadovic”.

In 2006, at the IBDP workshops in Athens, he obtained an international certificate for teaching Language A1 within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (higher, standard and self-taught level).

In the year 2010, he finished master studies at the department for Serbian and Comparative Literature and enrolled in the PhD program at the Faculty of Philology. His PhD research is related to the poetics and politics of literary texts in the Serbian modernist journal Delo (1902-1915).

During past few years he has participated in several scientific workshops and conferences, national and international (Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, UK).

Since March 2009 he has been working at the Institute for Literature and Arts as a research trainee within the project for periodical research; 2010-2011 worked as the project’s secretary and in 2011 started working as the secretary for the journal Literary History.

Fields of study and interest: Serbian literature at the beginning of the 20th century, digitalization of literary periodicals, gender, cultural and identity studies, literature and politics, movement theatre, travel writing.
